 Careerometer - LMI for All

Labour Market Information

Careerometer can be used to explore and compare key information about occupations, help you learn about different occupations and identify potential careers.
It provides access to a selection of UK headline data relating to pay, weekly hours of work and future employment prospects for different occupations, as well as description of the occupation.
Simply type in the title of the job you are interested in and the widget provides a series of options from which you can select the most relevant to you. You can then look up another two occupations and compare. You can also select ‘display the UK average’ and compare the information with the occupation you have selected.

Careers Provision Programme

Below is a table mapping the CEIAG provision for 2024-2025. The College is continually reviewing and improving its careers provision and will publish this information on an annual basis. The date of the next review is June 2025.

If you require more information about the Careers education provided in College then please contact Mr C Dakin or Mrs K Davey (contact details can be found at the bottom of this page).

All enquiries from interested parties should be directed to the College Careers Officer.

Education and training providers are encouraged to read the College Provider Access Statement in our Policies section of our website.

MEASURING IMPACT

A successful careers and guidance programme should be reflected in higher numbers of students progressing into positive destinations (e.g. colleges, universities, apprenticeships or employment). Information on the destinations of students who leave The City of Leicester College at the end of KS4 and KS5 is available in the performance tables published by the Department for Education - https://www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk
